SEOUL, Nov 22 – The 2nd Family Policy Experts Meeting in the Asia-Pacific Region which was organized by Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) Korea Policy Center was held recently in Glad Hotel, Seoul, South Korea. The main topic of the meeting is on Family Database in the Asia Pacific Region. The meeting were attanded by eight delegates representing each countries which were from China, Korea, Singapore, Japan, Thailand, Malaysia, Vietnam and Indonesia. Representating Malaysia, is the director of Malaysian Research Institute on Ageing (MyAgeing™), UPM Prof. Dr. Tengku Aizan Hamid.
The organizer and delegates are working hard to release the Family Database in Asia-Pacific Region in the website of the OECD headquarters in Paris by the end of this year. Future meeting is being planned for next year as this meeting has been proven to be benefitial for the Asia-Pacific Region countries.
