PUTRAJAYA, 8 January- Director of the Malaysian Research Institute on Ageing (MyAgeing™), Associate Prof. Dr. Rahimah Ibrahim, presented at a round table discussion session on sports cultivation among the elderly at the Malaysian Ministry of Youth and Sports (KBS) in Putrajaya yesterday.

Sports programs benefit seniors by promoting physical, mental, and social benefits, aging in a healthy way, and promoting social interaction.

“By making sports more inclusive, society values and respects their continued health and ability, encouraging them to continue enjoying activities and maintaining a sense of purpose”. She Said.

She added this promotes a more accepting and enabling society for all ages.

Meanwhile, YB Minister of Youth and Sports chaired this round table discussion, which was attended by various government agencies and national-level sports associations.
